A mid-1800’s architectural wonder helped make Chicago the city it is today.  The 96-mile Illinois & Michigan Canal (I&M Canal) connected the Great Lakes in Bridgeport, Chicago to the Illinois River at LaSalle-Peru, and amazingly unique towns sprung up that maintain their authentic charm to this date.

What's Happening at the Forge: Lemont Quarries

The Forge: Lemont Quarries is the perfect place to explore and stay active with friends and family. The Forge Summer Music Series

Saturday, August 19th - Sister Hazel: 7 PM

A chart-topping country / alternative band, named "one of the Top 100 Most Influential Independent Performers of the last 15 years" by Performing Songwriter Magazine.

 

Saturday, August 26th - Chicagoland Pops Orchestra: 6 PM

Chicagoland Pops is bringing your favorite film scores to life! Listen to some of the most iconic songs from action movies like Indiana Jones, Jurassic Park, James Bond, Pirates of The Caribbean, Rocky, Star Trek, Titanic, Jaws, and more as clips from the movies play behind a live orchestra.

 

Friday, September 8th - Everclear with the Ataris: 6:30 PM

Everclear will be kicking off their tour at The Forge: Lemont Quarries! Be the first to rock out with Everclear on the first show of their tour, right here at The Forge. Everclear will be rocking out The Forge with their iconic ’90s alt-rock hits and more, originating from Portland, Oregon.

 

The Forge Art Fest 

Saturday, August 26th - Art Fest: 10 AM

Experience the arts like never before at the world's largest adventure park! Immerse yourself into art and nature, in our outdoor festival of art. This festival will include live music, performances, art dispalys, clasees and workshops, vendors, food trucks, and more! Admission is $5 and grants you all-day access to many artsy-events.
