Kent & Erin started Millstone in 2022. They wanted to create a new destination for Downtown La Salle - as a way to continue the resurgence of the incredible downtown. It started as a dream and turned into reality with the help of many wonderful family members and friends. They are so happy to be business owners in this community and have the opportunity to meet so many wonderful new people as they experience the bakery.
Millstone is a place for the community to gather to experience delicious breads, pastries, & coffee. Their philosophy is simple: use the best ingredients and timeless baking techniques to create exceptional flavor and texture.
Millstone is an experience destination. Their stone oven is on full display, so you'll see them taking out fresh breads and pastries all morning. They also have an inviting seating area so you can meet with friends or simply enjoy a good book. Don't miss their selection of curated olive oils, jams, honey, mustards, and other items that pair perfectly with their breads.
Once you're done at Millstone, take a stroll through downtown LaSalle to enjoy the many wonderful boutiques, specialty stores, the historic I&M Canal, and the many other attractions.
